As submissions are sent to the Health Authority, they may require the answers to the same questions for multiple markets. Health Authority Questions will act as a knowledge base that can track what questions have been received, responded to, and what the response was.
Vault RIM Basics allows you to track Health Authority Questions and extract them automatically from documents.
Extracting Health Authority Questions
Complete the following steps to extract Health Authority Questions:
- Navigate to Submission Mgmt > Health Authority Communications > Health Authority Questions and click on the correspondence you want to extract questions from.
- In the panel on the right, click the question mark ().
- To begin extracting questions in a correspondence for the first time, click the Select Questions button. If you are returning to a correspondence to continue work, click + Select.
- Use your cursor to highlight a Health Authority Question in the correspondence. An annotation will appear, along with a Health Authority Question record on the right side of the screen. As you go through the correspondence and highlight, every question will create a new annotation and add a question to the list.
- After all the necessary questions have been extracted, click the Review button to either view the record, or add more details to each record such as Date Received, Functional Areas Impacted, Health Authority, and add Comments.
Updating Health Authority Question Statuses
Health Authority Question use the following statuses:
- Open: This status indicates that the Health Authority Question has been created but work has not yet been started.
- Ongoing: This status indicates that work has started on the Health Authority Question.
- Closed: This status indicates that all tasks for the Health Authority Question are completed and no further work is required.
To change the status of a Health Authority Question, select the appropriate Change State action from the Workflow Actions menu. You can change an Open Health Authority Question to Ongoing, an Ongoing Health Authority Question to Closed, and a Closed Health Authority Question back to Open.
Editing Health Authority Questions
Complete the following steps to edit a Commitment:
- Navigate to Submission Mgmt > Health Authority Communications > Health Authority Questions and click on the System Generated ID for the Health Authority Question you want to edit.
- Click Edit () on the action bar.
- Update the Health Authority Question information as needed.
- Click Save to save the changes.
Deleting Health Authority Questions
Complete the following steps to delete a Health Authority Question:
- Navigate to Submission Mgmt > Health Authority Communications > Health Authority Questions and click on the System Generated ID for the Health Authority Question you want to delete.
- From the All Actions menu, select Delete.
- In the Delete Record dialog, click Continue to confirm that you want to delete the Health Authority Question record.
